Italeri Scale Models 1/35 Scale: IT312 VW Kubelwagen Type 82. Beginning in 1944 the heavy armored car was supposed to replace all similar vehicles of the German Army. Several variants were built to explore the anti-tank role and artillery support task. This version, equipped with a 20 mm gun was the first one to be used by reconnaissance units. It was a reliable cross-country vehicle, but its armament proved inadequate against similar enemy vehicles, which were generally equipped with 37 or 57mm guns.
