Italeri Scale Models 1/35 Scale: IT6444 Crusader Anti Aircraft Vehicle. Made for the British army, this self-propelled antiaircraft gun was built around the chassis of the Crusader tank, which, half-way through the Second World War, had become obsolete & was unable to contend with modern enemy tanks. It was decided to transform the remaining Crusaders into self-propelled antiaircraft guns by fitting them with new turrets equipped with two 20 mm cannons. This antiaircraft Crusader, of which few were produced, was then used by the British in Europe to protect armoured divisions & troops.
