German Artillery WWII Revell 1/72 Scale RV02515

In the unmotorised divisons of the German army the artillery continued to use horses throughout the Second World War, that is to say, all guns and supply vehicles were horse-drawn. The type 18, 105mm field howitzer was the standard gun of the division artillery with four guns allocated to each battery.

A very impressive set

This set just arrived this morning from Net Merchants and I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality and variety of this set. The detail is excellent and there is very little flash. All the figures are in different poses including the horses and there is a surprising number of nice little extras i.e. rifles, helmets, ammunition pouches ect. My verdict is that this set is very good quality and great value for money
