The Halifax is considered to be one of the most famous British bombers of the Second World War, although it was overshadowed by the Avro Lancaster. It began active service with RAF Bomber Command in 1941 and was flown both over Europe and also in the Near and Middle East. In addition to its role as a bomber, the Halifax was also used by RAF Coastal Command and Transport Command in the Near and Far East and achieved great popularity. The maximum bomb load was 5,900 kg. With the new Revell tool the model will be equipped with a very detailed interior, characteristic bomb bays with loads and separate ailerons and landing flaps.
