Leonardo da Vinci Printing Press Revell 1/12 Scale RV00507

The printing press designed by Leonardo da Vinci is equipped with a system that provides a paper carriage with an automatic movement that is synchronised with the movement of the press. The sliding to and fro of the carriage was coordinated in such a way that a single person was able to carry out different operations at the same time. This considerably reduced working time.

Model builders can now reproduce this function on the model that has been made in accordance with the original drawings and historical models in the Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. The carriage slides backwardsand forwards and the press plate moves up and down.
