Revell Military & Figure Models: R02554 Wild West Cowboys. After the American Civil War, the Texans started to catch the longhorns, which partly were still living wild, and drive them to the North in huge herds. This was accomplished by the cowboys who had to have a good mount, as well as, weapons to defend themselves against the hostile Indians or cattle thieves.
