Squadron / Signal SS5549: OV1 Mohawk All Colour Walk Around Walk Around Series Number 49. Originally planned for both the Army and the Marines, the OV-1 was used just by the Army, though NASA had a test aircraft for testing jet engine noise. The OV-1D aircraft from the 15th MI (military intelligence) & the 224th MI groups participated during Desert Storm. The Mohawk was retired from U.S. Army service in 1996. Includes over 150 photographs, line drawings, & 12 color profiles. 80 pages.
