Squadron / Signal SS1040: P80 Shooting Star in Actio Aircraft No.40. The Lockheed P-80 was the USAAF/USAF's first fully operational jet fighter and served during the Korean War as a fighter-bomber. Later variants were given improved engines, weapons systems and second crewman to become all-weather interceptors. Includes coverage of the T-33 trainer.
