a start of a tamiya love

As i am a one year on one year off modeller, my skills are not as they probubly should be. So it was the reputation of tamiya that drue me to this model when i descided to make a collection of 40/50s jets. it is the first model i have made from this manufacturer, mainly because of the small budget i have for each model. The meteor was so easy to fit, and so well designed, the only problem i now have with the cost of these kits is that i make alot more of them as they go together so well im not wasting days sanding and filling. apart from a little filler around the engine intakes, this kit was a joy to build and makes a great finnished model. some would complain about the lack of detail in the cockpit but my models are up on shelves so this is not so important to me. next the tamiya Me262
