Squadron / Signal SS4019: U.S. Flush Deck Destroyers in Action - Warships Number 19.  The four stack, flush-deck DDs were design and built during WW I and the immediate post war years. Although largely obsolete during WW II, their sheer numbers ensured the use throughout the war in every theater as escorts, fast attack transports, mine layers, mine sweepers, and seplane tenders. Over 90 B&W photos, numerous drawings, 6 full colour profile paintings. 50 pages.
