Hobbyboss HBB80320 F/A 18A Hornet. The Hornet is a single & two-seat, twin engine, multi-mission fighter/attack aircraft that can operate from either aircraft carriers or land bases. The F/A-18 fills a variety of roles, including air superiority, fighter escort, suppression of enemy defences, reconnaissance, forward air control, close & deep air support & day/night strike missions. The F/A-19 replaced the F4 Phantom II figter & A7 Corsair II light attack jet, & also replaced the A-6 Intruder as these aircraft were retired out of service in the 90's.
