Big Bird.

The first thing that strikes you about this kit is the size of it. The fuselage alone is about 18" long and with the rotor blades the whole thing is nearly 2 foot. That said though I had slightly mixed feelings after a closer inspection. There are parts of this kit which are superbly detailed like the cockpit, then in contrast there are parts totally devoid of detail like the interior ceiling. However much detail there may or may not be though, all parts are well molded with virtually no flash at all. The kit is packaged as the MH60G with the IFR probe and forward radome, but the kit also includes several redundant parts from the older UH60 kit allowing the builder more possibilities. My biggest bugbear though with this kit is that there are NO CREW figures included, so anyone wishing to put this kit into a diorama scene will have to improvise. Despite its faults this is a great looking kit which I shall enjoy building.
